3 грудня 2024 року доцент кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією Ірина Сологор провела просвітницько-виховний захід до Міжнародного дня боротьби за скасування рабства зі здобувачами освіти І курсу 4 групи факультету медичного № 1. 2 грудня 1949 року на 4-й сессії Генеральної асамблеї ООН була підтримана Конвенція про боротьбу з торгівлею людьми і з експлуатацією проституції третіми особами. Україна ратифікувала цей документ 15 лютого 1955 року.
За даними ООН, у світі понад 50 млн людей – жертви сучасних форм рабства. Усі форми рабства порушують права людини, принижують її людську гідність і суперечать законам цивілізованого світу.
On the 3 December, 2024, Iryna Solohor, an Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology, held an educational event dedicated to the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery for the first-year students (group 4, Medical Faculty No. 1).
On the 2 December, 1949, the Convention for the Suppression of the Traffic in Persons and of the Exploitation of the Prostitution of Others was adopted at the 4th session of the UN General Assembly. Ukraine ratified this document on 15 February 1955.
According to the UN, more than 50 million people worldwide are victims of modern forms of slavery. All forms of slavery violate human rights, degrade human dignity and contradict the laws of the civilised world.
