26 квітня − День Чорнобильської трагедії,
Міжнародний день пам’яті жертв радіаційних аварій та катастроф
26 квітня виповнюється 38 років із часу аварії на Чорнобильській АЕС, яка стала найбільшою техногенною катастрофою ХХ століття, що призвела до забруднення 3/4 території Європи. У 2016 році цей день був оголошений Генеральною асамблеєю ООН Міжнародним днем пам'яті про Чорнобильську катастрофу.
24 квітня 2024 року доцент кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією Ірина Сологор провела зі здобувачами освіти (15 група І курсу факультету медичного № 1) просвітницько-виховний захід до Дня Чорнобильської трагедії, Міжнародного дня пам’яті жертв радіаційних аварій та катастроф. Студенти переглянули та обговорили документальний фільм «Чорнобильська катастрофа: історія про трагедію, яка назавжди закарбувалася в пам’яті, Одна історія»
April 26th – International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day,
International Day of Remembrance for Victims of Radiation Accidents and Disasters
On April 26th, we commemorate the 38th anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This event, widely considered the largest technological catastrophe of the 20th century, resulted in the radioactive contamination of a significant portion of European territory – estimates suggest up to three-quarters. In recognition of the lasting impact of this event, the United Nations General Assembly declared April 26th as the International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day in 2016.
On 24 April 2024, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology Iryna Solohor held an educational event with the Medicine students (15 group, I, Faculty of Medicine No. 1) dedicated to International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day and the International Day of Remembrance for Victims of Radiation Accidents and Disasters. The students watched and discussed the documentary film "Chernobyl Disaster: The Story of a Tragedy Forever Etched in Memory, One Story".
