19 березня виповнюється 130 років від дня народження видатного українського поета, перекладача та громадського діяча Максима Рильського, який у літературних колах належав до групи "неокласиків". Із цієї нагоди науково-педагогічні працівники кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією на чолі із завідувачем Оленою Бєляєвою та здобувачами освіти першого курсу факультету медичного № 1 (1 та 5 групи) і факультету стоматологічного (3, 4 та 8 групи) відвідали інформаційно-виховний захід “Відлуння вічності: поезія Максима Рильського”. Захід відбувався на базі ПОУНБ ім. І.П. Котляревського, а його спікером була завідувач кафедри української літератури ПНПУ імені В.Г. Короленка, професор, доктор філологічних наук Світлана Ленська.
Присутні ознайомилися із тернистим життєвим шляхом знаного поета і перекладача, який залишив після себе понад 40 збірок віршів і сотні перекладів з усіх слов'янських мов, німецької, англійської, французької, іспанської, єврейської, норвезької, вірменської та багатьох інших. Ця цікава зустріч стала продовженням тісної співпраці відділу обслуговування користувачів Полтавської обласної універсальної наукової бібліотеки ім. І. П. Котляревського з кафедрою іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією.
On March 19, we commemorate the 130th birth anniversary of the distinguished Ukrainian poet, translator, and public figure, Maksym Rylskyi, a prominent member of the literary group known as "Neoclassicists".
In commemoration of this event, the academic and pedagogical staff of the department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology, led by the head of the department, Olena Bieliaieva, along with first-year students from faculty of Medicine No. 1 (groups 1 and 5) and the faculty of Dentistry (groups 3, 4, and 8), attended the informational and educational event "Echoes of eternity: the poetry of Maksym Rylskyi." The event took place at I. P. Kotliarevskyi Regional Universal Scientific Library and featured a keynote speech by Svitlana Lenska, Doctor of Philology, Professor, and head of the department of Ukrainian Literature at V. G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University. Attendees gained insight into the challenging life journey of the renowned poet and translator, who left behind more than 40 collections of poems and hundreds of translations from all Slavic languages, as well as German, English, French, Spanish, Hebrew, Norwegian, Armenian, and many others. This engaging meeting further strengthened the ongoing collaboration between the User Services Department of the Poltava Regional Universal Scientific Library and the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology
