Участь науковиці ПДМУ в міжнародній конференції
Нещодавно на базі ПВНЗ “Київський медичний університет” відбулася ХXIІІ Міжнародна наукова конференція імені засновника Київського медичного університету Валерія Володимировича Поканевича “Стратегії утвердження української національної та громадянської ідентичності здобувачів вищої медичної освіти”, до членів організаційного комітету якої від Полтавського державного медичного університету входила завідувач кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією, кандидат педагогічних наук, доцент Олена Бєляєва.
Цьогорічна конференція вирізнялася надзвичайно плідною роботою й активністю учасників. Різнопланові доповіді спікерів викликали жваву дискусію та зацікавленість присутніх. Не стала винятком і доповідь Олени Бєляєвої, присвячена ролі лекції в університетській освіті. Не в останню чергу це було зумовлено як актуальністю презентованого матеріалу, адже в сучасному вітчизняному і закордонному науково-педагогічному дискурсі спостерігається стале зростання інтересу до цієї організаційної форми та водночас засобу навчання, у процесі підготовки фахівців у галузі охорони здоровʼя зокрема, так і опонентів, котрі намагаються довести, що лекція є своєрідним рудиментом.
Спікерка, доповідь якої була побудована на сучасних джерелах, аргументовано довела, що якісна академічна лекція – це живе і творче спілкування лектора з аудиторією, яке не може бути замінено жодними інформаційно-комунікаційними технологіями, а майстерність лектора є одним із важливих показників його професійно-педагогічної компетентності й педагогічної майстерності.
Щодо інформаційної функції лекції, то, беручи до уваги, що одиниця виміру старіння знань фахівця, прийнята в США, або так званий період напіврозпаду компетентності ‒ її зниження на 50 % унаслідок появи нової інформації ‒ академічна лекція залишається одним із максимально доцільних й економних засобів ознайомлення здобувачів освіти із сучасними фаховими знаннями.
Participation of PSMU scientist in the international conference
Recently, the XXIII International Scientific Conference named after the founder of Kyiv Medical University Valeriy Pokanevych "Strategies of Establishing the Ukrainian National and Civil Identity of Higher Medical Education Students" was held at the premises of the Higher Educational Institution "Kyiv Medical University", and the organizing committee of the conference included Olena Bieliaieva, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology, Candidate in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.
This year's conference was characterized by extremely fruitful work and activity of the participants. The diverse reports of the speakers provoked a lively discussion and interest of the audience. Olena Bieliaieva's presentation on the role of lectures in university education was no exception. This was not least due to the relevance of the material presented, as the modern domestic and foreign scientific and pedagogical discourse has seen a steady increase in interest in this organizational form and, at the same time, a means of learning, in the process of training healthcare professionals in particular, and opponents who are trying to prove that the lecture is a kind of rudiment.
The speaker, whose report was based on modern sources, argued that a high-quality academic lecture is a lively and creative communication between the lecturer and the audience that cannot be replaced by any information and communication technologies, and the lecturer's skills are one of the important indicators of his or her professional and pedagogical competence and pedagogical skill.
Regarding the information function of the lecture, given that the unit of measurement of the aging of a specialist's knowledge adopted in the United States, or the so-called competence half-life ‒ its decline by 50% due to the emergence of new information - the academic lecture remains one of the most appropriate and economical means of familiarizing students with modern professional knowledge.
